A Lovely Day Off

Day #5

My morning consisted of washing my hair and face in warm water only. I washed my face in milk and rinsed. Finally, I applied a small amount of coconut oil to my face and lips. (I really miss lip balm)

My hair feels amazing. It looks better than it has in recent memory. I actually haven't needed to apply oil to it since the coconut oil massage and leaving it in overnight 2 nights ago. I think I will do the coconut oil massage once a week.

I went on a lovely hike. The weather is mild considering it is the first day of December. The ground is dry and the sun feels nice. It was hard not to lick at my lips, though. Not used to them feeling dry at all.

I am chewing up my lips. I really, really miss lip balm BAAAAAAD!

I gave in and put on lip balm after dinner (EOS). My lips were not feeling good.at.all.

I think my skin looked worse today. A little redder and felt like there was a new scaly patch on the right side of my chin.

Headache came on towards mid-afternoon. Progressed through the evening.

Before bed washed with water, applied CO and lip balm.

Food:

Cottage cheese and sweetened fruit
Chamomile tea with Stevia
Almonds
Salad with ground flaxseed, teaspoon Ranch, some cheese
Avocado
Turkey
Carrots and celery
Cuties
Chicken
Corn and Broccoli
Blackberry Vanilla tea

Vitamins: Vit C, E, K, Biotin, Beta Carotene, Selenium
